Week 2

So, week 2 went by fast. Nothing really new to report. I didn't go surfing or anything fun like that. I wish I could've, but since I have no money . . . no surf. No worries though. I'll be getting paid here pretty soon, so I will be surfing soon, or rather learning to surf. Anyway.

Back to writing about something else. We had a few days off this week due to weather. Now, I know what you're thinking . . . "you work in paradise. What could possibly be wrong with the weather?" Here's the deal: if you are down by the coast, the weather is perfect. When you work where I work, the weather changes minute to minute. It'll be nice and sunny one minute and then the clouds come rolling in and down it rains. It hasn't really rained that hard on us, but it rains constantly. Winds are in upwards of 15-30 miles per hour. So, I have a skewed view of the weather here. Not really skewed per say. I just work where the weather is not ideal all the time.

Speaking of where I work. Here are few pictures of my office. Enjoy!

And another:

On any given day, we can see countless rainbows. They don't just come in one size and shape either. We've seen quite a few different kinds. Really cool stuff. I really like where I work.

That's pretty much all I have for today. Mahalo.

Week One

Well, I am almost done with my first week in Maui. Monday will make it one full week.

I don't have any pictures up yet. I hope to have some up soon. No worries though. The pictures will come. If they don't, then there will be hell to pay. I know I'll never here the end of it from everyone.

Work has been tough. It's construction. No doubt about. I am up early and on my way to work by 6AM. By the time we are done, I am really tired. It's not easy work by any means. I like it though. I get to be outside all day. Outside in Maui . . . you can't beat that. Well, if i was surfing all day . . . that would definitely beat it. Speaking of surfing. I gotta go and do some more learning to surf. I will write more later.

Aloha
